No casino I’ve reviewed recently has committed to a costume harder than Taboo Bet. The join button says “Sin now”; the login link asks if you’re “Already sinning”. The welcome banner is “First-Timer’s Temptation” and promises that “peeking is free, loading up pays”. The loyalty scheme is “The Fall Arc”, eight tiers of descent that the homepage bills as running from Innocent to Morningstar while the VIP page names the top rung Lucifer, and the bonus balance itself is denominated in a currency the documents call SIN. Even the cashback is “No-Shame Cashback”, offered under the slogan that with 20% back on lost deposits “you never really lose”, a sentence its own responsible gambling page struggles to justify. Behind the theatre sits a large lobby: a claimed six thousand games from eighty providers, with Hacksaw’s Le Bandit and Le Hooligan, Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus Super Scatter and Big Bass Splash 1000, Endorphina, Play’n GO, Playtech and Push Gaming all labelled per game, a provider list running Evolution to Yggdrasil, and an in-house “Taboobet Originals” crash suite of Dice, Mines, Plinko and an branded Aviator variant of its own.
Under “Why Taboobet is worth playing with?”, the casino advertises “Fast withdrawals: withdraw without checks and waiting” and, in so many words, “Anonymity: no KYC even for large withdrawals”. Set aside that a no-checks casino is a casino with one less reason to pay you; the real problem is that the footer of the very same page links a KYC policy demanding passport or ID, a utility bill for your address and up to three months of bank statements showing regular income, and warning that a player who fails a check “cannot make additional deposits or withdrawals of any amount”. The shop window promises the absence of the exact machinery the small print insists on. One of them is not telling you the truth.
Ownership, licensing and the UK position
Credit where due: the footer of the Taboo Bet website discloses the necessary details properly. It names Guruz Group Ltd, its Belize company number 000044399, a street address in Belize City, the Anjouan Gaming Authority and the licence number itself, and the regulator’s register agrees: one entry, issued 22 May 2025 and dated to 21 May 2027, carrying five domains. Four of them are Bitguruz addresses, dot-com through dot-vip, and the fifth is taboobet.bet, which makes the arithmetic clean: one operator, two casinos, one of them wearing most of the paperwork. Bitguruz replays the same licence number in its own footer and runs the same banner, the same Originals suite and the same machinery under calmer branding; whichever brand you use, the company behind it is the same.
For UK players, the position is the standard offshore trade, with one additional detail worth naming. An Anjouan licence brings no Gambling Commission protections, no GAMSTOP, no ombudsman with jurisdiction; the dispute route ends at the Gaming Board of Anjouan, to which the casino’s own policy refers disputes worth over 500 SIN. The additional detail is that the terms contain no restricted countries list at all. To complicate matters further, terms clause 3.12 describes the same turnover only when a leg is a 100% match: on a £30 deposit, sixty times the £30 bonus and thirty times the £60 total both come to £1,800. Read the banner’s 300%-at-once version instead, and the two rules diverge by thousands of dollars. The clause presumably wins over the homepage advert, but a player shouldn’t need three documents and a calculator to find out. Clause 3.14 adds that the precise details are “set in the special referral link, or the promo code you use”, which the wider web confirms: affiliate directories currently advertise this casino at 100% plus 100 spins with a code, and at £10 with no deposit, deals the site itself never mentions. What you get depends on which door you came in through.
Here’s the rest of the machinery, from the documents: a £5 maximum bet under any bonus with winnings voidable above it, a £25 deposit required before any no-deposit or free-spin winnings can be withdrawn, and caps illustrated by the policy’s own worked example. Set the homepage’s no-checks promise against the KYC policy’s actual terms, and the practical picture for a winner is this: an unverified player can be stopped cold at any amount; a verified one has given a Belize-based company their passport and bank statements, and the only referee past the casino’s own managers is in Anjouan. But my findings all point one way. The homepage promises no identity checks while the policies demand bank statements; the one welcome offer carries three wagering rules; the loyalty ladder can’t keep its own top tier’s name straight between pages; and the terms restrict nobody, protect no funds, and price the cashier’s minimums in the casino’s own bonus currency. A casino whose shop window contradicts its terms this often is asking you to bet on which version you’ll meet at withdrawal time, with no record anywhere of how that bet has gone for anyone else.
If you’re outside the UK and temptation wins anyway, deposit the minimum, screenshot the offer terms you were actually shown, and treat the whole thing as theatre with a ticket price.
